Amadou Diallo

Amadou Diallo has been serving as the CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Middle East & Africa since June 2017. Based in Dubai, he holds responsibility for the unit's performance and long-term strategic development, a role that aligns seamlessly with his extensive experience in logistics and international leadership.

With over 30 years of experience in tourism, banking, express, and logistics, Amadou has held various senior positions within DHL. These include CEO of DHL Freight, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding South Asia Pacific, CFO of DPDHL Logistics Division, and Managing Director for Exel and DHL integration. His career spans Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Amadou is the founder of Saloodo!, DHL's inaugural online logistics platform. He is recognised for his strategic acumen and pivotal role in shaping the DHL Logistics Division during the monumental Exel integration, the largest in the industry to date.

Furthermore, Amadou serves as the Chairman of Amref Health Africa in Germany, and is a member of the boards of Welthungerhilfe, Global Business School Network and the Universal Business School of Mumbai. 

Born in Senegal, Amadou is fluent in several languages including English, German, French, Fulani, Wolof and Spanish.
