Ekaterina Kozyreva

Born in Moscow, Ms. Kozyreva has graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, department of Human Geography, and started her professional way as a research officer in Moscow State University and in the Institute of Geography in Russian Academy of Sciences.
Ms. Kozyreva worked for consulting organizations where she was responsible for strategic issues. She has a 10-years working experience within Russian Railways.
Ms. Kozyreva was a member of OECD’s ITF Transport Research Committee and is currently engaged in numerous United Nations projects as an expert and consultant on railway and multimodal transport projects, including ESCAP-ASEAN Guidelines on High-Speed Railway development.
In 2020 Ms. Kozyreva and partners established a global advisory platform InfraEconomy Group uniting InfraEconomy Centers (IEC) in France, UAE and Kazakhstan, which provide assistance in transport strategic planning, multi-optional modelling for infrastructural projects, organising and financing models and derisking, with strong focus on the markets of the Global South. InfraEconomy Group renders advisory support to international organisations, multilateral development banks, finance centres, national authorities and governmental companies, private sector. Group portfolio includes Middle East Railways Vision 2050 for the International Union of Railways, trade and transport model of the Middle Corridor for the World Bank, set of economic and transport models for Astana International Financial Centre, etc.
