- CEO Rolling Stock and Member of the Executive Board. CAF’s Rolling Stock division is the core business of CAF Group and has a turnover of almost 2.000 M€ with a staff of almost 6.000 people and customers in more than 40 countries in all the continents.
- Previously as Chief Corporate Officer in charge of CAF subsidiaries:
- Defined the Group’s strategy out from the group’s traditional activities of rail rolling stock and maintenance.
- Defined and lead CAF’s strategy into the bus segment, as well as the acquisition and integration of Solaris into CAF Group as Chairman of Solaris (2018-2023).
- Lead the development of CAF’s capabilities and market position for Components, Signalling and Integrated Transport Projects.
- Education:
- Industrial Engineer by Tecnun (Universidad de Navarra, Spain) and RWTH (Aachen, Germany). 1st National Graduation Award by Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture.
- Executive MBA and PADE Senior Management Program by IESE
